At the heart of it is a shortwave halogen element, sitting inside a quartz tube. Why? Because it responds quickly and delivers intense, focused heat. That quartz tube has a special coating, too. It’s a standard, tough, no-fuss interface. You wire it up once, and it stays put—even when things are vibrating or the temperature is constantly shifting.
